00 Si Bogs Into Vtec

Default 00 Si Bogs Into Vtec

Alright when i kick into vtec at 5500 rpm's it sorda bogs in and out..i have a gsr distributer would this effect my 00 si b16a2? also the oil is right cause i recently did oil change mobil 1 synthetic and changed spark plugs with oem denso from honda and gaped them...i know its not running right what could be the problem?

was it running right before you gapped the plugs? the plugs shoulda been pre gapped, if it was like this before you may have a fuel delivery problem like a fuel filter. when was the last time it was changed?

havent done a fuel filter change..car has 46,000 miles..i had to gap them..they werent pregap, the denso oem honda spark plug box said to gap em

after like an hour of driving the vtec will kick in smooth with no bogs..but an hour? ..i know thiers somethign that has to be wrong... i know it needs to warm up but it just doesnt run right for the first 1 hour of driving..
