Here is an Old video I came across in the archived section of our site (see sig) but I just thought I would share it with you guys...

Racing at Hallet Raceway in Hallet Oklahoma,
track is 1.6 miles our average lap time was 1:23

just to get an idea.. fastest car out there (open wheel car) 1:17

we dominated the GT3 class 2 yrs in a row but money problems kept us from racing (had to sell the motor)

right now we're talking about re-building the car for next year so we can start dominating once again...

car specs were...
LOTS of weight reduction
H23 (stock motor) OEM CAMS, OEM PISTONS, Geared tranny (by P-PO tech)
Ericks racing Header
Ericks Racing Throttle Body
chipped ECU
Fluidyne big radiator, w/ FAL fans
Tokico Illuminas (5-way adjustable)
SKunk2 coilovers
speedmaster SM-o46 (orange cuz!)
Custom rollcage

oh yeah our fastest 1/4 run in that car was 12.2 with the roadracing slicks on it...

rigth now were currently lookign for anyhtign to help us out as far as donations so we can get back out on the track, or if someone would liek to help sponser our race car, let us know!!

was that an HPDE?

 

since the driver did not have gloves on, it wasnt a race group. but holy aggressive driving

yeah liek I stated in the originial post I found it in the archives on our site http://www.humbleperformance.com yeah I wasn't really expecting to get in sponsorships or help through honda-tech... but anyway I don't know (but I really doubt) that the video was sped up, and yes agressive driving is how you take that number 1 spot 2 seasons in a row with the closest guy to you being a 911 turbo that could only keep up on the straights...

I just clocked one of the laps... I got a 1:12 approx.

I agree with Chad video is sped up

Suspension setup could use some work, that thing wasn't any faster than miatas in turns....

Color me un-impressed.

I knew that looked familiar....now that I think about it, I think I posted the exact same comment that last time this was posted.

 

Geezus no kidding this is fast forward. By the looks of the vid, this thing would smoke that Hans dude at the 'Ring. Also sounds like the driver is not heel-n-toeing. Not a critique or anything but an observation.

That sounded like...10,000 rpms?

Kinda like how an 8,000 rpm motor might sound if the tape was sped up a little?

i know people who use sequential gearboxes in GTL, so i would imagine they use the same in GT3.

why is the video sped up?

 

from what i've been told the video is not sped up, you guys can try to prove this wrong but right now... we dont care, were buildign the car back up and we'll take some more videos... now I see where you guys are coming from cause the video is a little jumpy but I know that it was uploaded straight from the camera to the website but anyways... I bet we would smoke that Hans dude at the ring or here at hallet...

motor was being revved up to 85-8800

Whew, holy crap, I've been there (driving the other direction). It looked sped up, partly because of your closing speed on the other cars

What kind of event was that? Looked like no cage, no gloves, and I thought I saw a silver mustang with no numbers? Is that time trials or wheel-to-wheel racing?
