How do you put a b17 crank in a b16 and can it be done?

Correct me if im wrong but the b17 has a 82 or 83mm crank as compared to a 77mm..... Not the same thing

Randy is just saying both blocks are identical, and swapping a b17a crank and rods into a b16a is just gonna make a 1.7L that has b16a stamped on the block. Kind of a waste if you already have the b17a

due to bills I dont have much money to stroke the b16 so I figured I would like to get a little more stroke cheaper. I have a type r crank could I use that with the b17rods or would I have to deck the block?
