camber kits what work with 1988 to 1991 civics
i PAY a lot to lower my car the right way and i go and try to get the dam thing alined and that tell me that they cannt fix it with out a camber kit will i need any thing else y i am spending the money?
To correct wheel angle. You want your car sitting correctly otherwise you will develop unwanted tire wear. The camber kit is adjustable unlike the stock honda upper control arms and rear upper control arm.

bump for vtecn8ive. Take it from me first hand. If your Rex is lowered, and you have 15x7 rims. GET A CAMBER KIT NO MATTER WHAT, and i mean no matter what!!! i had some new tires i almost wrecked the tread on because my alignment was toe out and my camber was off!

I've had my last crx now for 10 years lowered 1.7" on ST springs with NO camber kit.....my tires wear awesome, so i dissagree with that statement.
Just make sure your car is aligned properly.

Holy 10 years!!! Those springs are still holding strong after 10 years!!!. Your tires WEAR awesome? What like wearing the inside bald? j/k. nah what type of offset did you have for your rims?
I have heard of people not using camber kits but I still highly recommend them. What type of front knuckles were you using?

^^ My car is an 89 SI, running stock knuclkes, with ST springs that are like the day i put them in. I have them installed with tokico blue struts all around, and front and rear ST sway bars.
I'm running on Regamaster 15" rims with 38 offset. I changed my rims/tires over twice since 1995, not cause they were worn out, but to change the look of the car.
If my tires were not wearing well, i would have used a camber kit years ago.

whats up buddy. just tell them to align it as close to stock as possible. and get smaller rims, 17s dont help.

They should be able to set toe-in/out on all four and rear camber on bone-stock suspention (washer trick in rear). Like others have said in many other threads, its the severe toe-in that causes the majority of early tire wear when you dump your car 2+ inches, not toe-in. Hell, look at the stock BMW SUV suspention - the rear camber is crazy looking.
