Default RS*R exhaust + ITR header+ omni test pipe = NO FIT

Just got my RSR exhaust today and am having bad fitament issues with the jdm itr header I have and omni power test pipe. The test pipe has enough length to bolt up to the header but the angle is all wrong. Its pointing down about 2 inches off so what did you guys do about that? Try different exhaust rubber hangers? Im not sure what do to. If I were to remove those rubber hangers (below the shifter) it might work but im worried the exhaust piping might be swaying causing the rear section to sway. Im so sick of buying the most expensive quality parts and nothing working right. Does anybody know how the heck to resize pics with windows xp? I cant figure it out to save my life

ALSO the damn muffler tip is all up on my WW mugen bumper and pushing it up I guess this exhaust was made for a stock bumper? I hate to cut my ww bumper

The omni power test pipe is too short without the center extension and too long without it so im gonna have to cut a bit off the header to flange side!!

can you get any pics? I am guessing you are right on the WW bumper mishap.

As far as the test pipe/exhaust. I guess I am a little lost at what you are saying. The test pipe is hanging to low to hook up to the exhaust? You can't loosen up some bolts to get it to reach correctly or is it too long to short?

hmmm perhaps lower your rs-r and move it forward a bit.

cut + weld = done

otherwise you could extend the test pipe and lower the rs-r this is perhaps the route I'd go.

AS FAR AS THE BUMPER GOES, i have the same body kit on my car, the WW urethane kit. my tip rubs against my bumper, but trust me, it doesnt do any damage. No paint has come of yet or anything, so i'd just leave it!

next issue is that the omni power test pipe is too long with all its 3 peices pushed in as far as they will go and is too short with the mid peice removed. I guess im gonna cut the thing down a bit

I had to shorten my omnipower test pipe also. Same hatchback catback exhaust. Haha, I actually installed the mid pipe upside down also! I was like wtf this is a piece of junk!

a lttle offtopic but how loud is your RSR? i'm looking for an uber quiet exaust system, i've heard good things about the rsr...but if you could confirm how quiet it is, that would be awesome. thanks

I love mine. It's really not loud unless you want it to be. HKS is quieter, but I mean I want some sound to come out. Just think how its laid out similar to greddy sp, etc.

Thermal is a lot louder I think.

go with rsr you wont be disappointed if you're wanting something to not kill your audio, or your ears...

and it's a great sound

after shortening the test pipe this exhaust sounds sweet. Its not too loud and has a great tone. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to keep sound on the quiet level
