Used Axels (HELP!)

I need to get some new(slightly used) axels for my 97 Civic DX, and Im going to buy some off craigslist. They are off a 00 EX, and the guy says that they have about 30K miles on them. He took them out because he swaped the motor. What should I look for before I purchase it. And is $100 a good price from them? If you guys could help me out that would be really great. Thanks Guys

well a brand new axle w/ lifetime warranty is like 70 bucks each so..

$100 for USED axels w/ no warranty and 30k miles or..
$140 for NEW axels w/ lifetime warranty...

i would go with new ones
