Default tech q's (h22a in a 97 civic)

i got myself an auto h22a which i plan on converting to stick shift.. transmission is a P2C4 from a 94-97 accord coupe. i did search and came with no results in particular ....

1) are the flywheels for the h22a and b16a2 the same? if not, can the b16 flywheel be used ?
2) what axles should be used in a 97 civic ex?

any help would be much appreciated.

thanks

I don't know on the axles, but i'm pretty sure it was covered in the swap FAQ thread. As far as the flywheel, B16 won't work.

no its being put together... the tranny basically. ive gathered some information about the axles and i can have them custom made as well so lets stick to the tranny.

the reason i asked about the b16 flywheel was the fact that it bolts right up like a champ (8 bolts) but am not sure if the diameter and the depth are fine and also if the self motor would line up or not...

any dimensions on the h22a flywheel, pressure plate and the clutch??? pictures would be great....

thanks

You need custom axles if it's a H22 in a Civic. I can get you a set if you need them(New).

350 shipped. Just use an Accord or Prelude flywheel.

ur going to need an h22/f22 flywheel and clutch set

and the axles are all gonna depend on how the motor is sitting with the custom mounts, so i really woudlnt bother till the motor is in the car
