Default Steering wheel selection

Hello all. I've decided that my stock steering wheel is what's holding back the interior of the car. I'm strongly considering the MOMO Millenium Evo wheel. I just wanted some opinions on whether this is a good choice. If you have an alternate suggestion, please let me know and I will check it out. Here's a Photoshop of the wheel as an example.

New steering wheel = no airbag. Go ahead and kill yourself in a wreck nobody here will care.

Sorry but I think that the people that put a get rid of safety to "look cool" are ******* retards.

I know there will be alot of people here that will agree with me on that too.

Just curious...

Because monitoring the car's electrical system would be pointless right? I try not to post anything rediculously stupid, but that's the way some people present themselves when they speak from ignorance. Of the car's numerous trophys, 3 were earned through IASCA Sound-Q first place finishes and Outlaw SPL records that were broken. I kinda like to keep tabs on the 220amp alt, Optima redtops, and 2 batcaps. There's alot of money wrapped up into that, and I'd like to keep those in top shape. I guess I just don't see the relevance of your comment.

For the rest of the comments here, constructive or criticizing, I do appreciate your input and take each into consideration.

You don't have to defend the choices you made on your car... I don't like the look, but I don't like fat chicks either... some guys do. I'm not comparing your car to a fat chick, just saying that some people like different things. As for the wheel though... I def have to agree that getting rid of the airbag is a mistake. You will probably never use the air bag, but you have to ask yourself "What if" and I think that's enough to keep it stock.

Until I read everyone's comments. I was ready to say get the new wheel on the grounds you lose that honda badge on the glove box. I don't know why but it just bothers me, but that is my own person preference.

After reading everyone's comments though, keep the stock wheel. I forgot about the airbag issue.

I guess since your gonna keep the stock wheel, I can live with your Honda badge.

Yeah, the airbag is a very big issue. I'm sure I've seen some aftermarket wheels about the same size that have an airbag, but they were expensive, and probably not as attractive.

Way to follow the crowd champ If you have an opinion give it. Personally I say stock but you do what you like... and from the looks of it you like flashy.

I too have seen aftermarket steering wheels with airbags. VERY costly. I wouldn't mind if they were a tad bit smaller though. I'm sick of having to have my wheel adjusted so my hands don't hit against my legs...and having to look over the wheel too!

And I do agree.......keep the stock one or go aftermarket w/ airbag. That's the route I'm trying to go with.....

that car is pretty tasteful. I myself dont like airbags, so go with the Evo wheel, atleast I would. None of my old cars had air bags and if I survived in them, I'll survive in another car without airbags, if its your time to die its your time to die right? :D

Default Steering Wheel

Hm i would say its whatever you like, sense your the one thats gonna be driving the car and showing it off.

If i had to choose though, i say aftermarket wheel, I mean ya air bags save lifes, but u gotta think about how many cars dont have air bags adn get in crashes and the people dont die. Its not like every car in the world has an air bag and if you dont have one your dead. Thats my two cents.

Glad to help

But take the airbag out of a vehicle that came equipped with one from the factory is just plain stupid, especially if this car is your daily driver. The ONLY exception to this rule that I could justify would be if you are building a race car and have other safety measures such as a roll-cage and 5pt harnesses.

And yes airbags do save lives and you are a moron for saying otherwise.

You're wrong man. I also hate r!ce and the look of this guy's car, BUT I have an example that'll prove you wrong and that's my personal case. I have a 93 CX and the steering wheel was in the latest horrible condition, not comfortable to grab and use, and horrible at just looking at it, and not everyone has the money (and many have it but aren't spending 280$ AT ALL) to buy a new OEM steering wheel and which is really tricky to find used 'cuz it's blue

I bought myself an aftermarket steering wheel with a quick release and well, I don't have airbag yes, but this steering wheel costed me less than half of the price the OEM would have.

Now for the poster. Dude, I don't really like your car at all and the steering wheel you posted for example is HORRIBLE man, stay with de OEM while it's in good condition and change it when you really need to and not to help wannabies.

There are junkyards everywhere that have plenty of eg civics with steering wheels. Good luck if you get in an accident
