Damn dude I didn't see you out there all weekend, were you hanging out mostly at the corners? I was chilling mostly in the paddock area as I had a media pass for the weekend too.

 

Thanks . We had set up camp on the turn 6 to bridge straight, also traveled up to the top of rollercoaster. Turn 3-4 is probably one of the best places to watch, but it gets super crowded (obviously). I made a few trips through the paddock, I wasn't in much of a paddock photo mood though.

I found a good spot on the fence at 4 to watch and I had a perfect view of the jumbotron.

I wasn't even going to take many pics but in retrospect I should have applied for the photo credential and borrowed Mikey's papparazzi cam. Maybe next time. I really wish I had not choked on a funny *** shot of Duhamel walking in on Mladin taking a **** in a Porta Potty during one of the red flags

I'm wondering if anyone got a shot of Jake Holden going off at the kink on the front straight but I'm kind of thinking no. No one in the media room seemed to have one (nor did they even know who fell).

 

I think this is the only shot of it, from AMA's timing and scoring equipment. Probably a second before it happened

haha I've loved yates ever scince that happened. I affectionatly refer to him as head butt yates.
