ok i have posted this up alot but here it goes agian i broke my water pump in my crx a few months back got it fixed abouta week later dude said after he fixed it he couldent figure out why it wouldent stay running but now i get it back and it runs like **** after it falls under s1200 rpms cel cuts on and car bogs down to a die sounds like the intake farts and just dies i have to set the idle higher but it sounds bad when you runnin it a 2000rpms every where you go plus it sounds like my exhuast is crackling is that normal it makes like little pop and crackle sounds i dont remember it doing that before my main relay is going out but i dont think thats the problem my ecu is 7 and 15 that crank angle and fuel injectors but i dont think my fuel injectors are the ones doing this the mechanic said he is positive its on time but then what the hell is it where is the crank angle sensor how do i replace it or fix it?????? sorry for bad grammer..
sounds like all dizzy related problems, thats where the crank angle sensor is. Try to put a good dizzy on it and see if that fixes it. Also make sure the firing order is right. If i knew what motor you had i could tell you what it is.
ok if you wanna check your firing order stand on the passenger side and when looking at the plug wires on the dizzy the bottom left will be cyl 1, top left cyl 3, top right cyl 4, bottom right cyl 2.
Just in case you dont know what cylinders are what then standing in the same place it goes 1,2,3,4 1 being the cyl farthest to the drivers sdie and 4 being the closest to you/ pass side.
Kinda confusing so if you dont figure it out let me know
