Wow, someone was looking out for you! Out of curiosity, what kind of tires were you on and how much tread was left?

no they werent moving... they were exactly like the ones in the background. and my tires have tread 35%+-..... but if u can see the type of concrete out there is incredibly slick, like how slick a garage floor gets when wet. so traction was lost wayyyy easier than reg. street... was pouring hard rain too.

worse thing is college starts today! and i have no ride
imma have to withdrawl this semester and wait
aaaand i might get fired from my job for missing work, even tho i told em what happend

sux

So they werent moving...what exactly happened? obviously you said the pavement there was slick, but what were YOU doing that caused this to happen? Not trying to be an ******* or anything, but seriously...you got crap tires on the car (based on tread life remaining) and a wet condition...was your speed attributed to this accident?

I know its probobly a shitty day for you...but im curious if you can honestly say this accident couldnt have been helped by something you could have done or maybe something you SHOULDNT have done? Or even perhaps replacing your tires?

I just read in another thread that you're 19 years old and you have a few tickets already...im guessing this accident was probobly 100% avoidable, oh well. Then i get to thinking about your post...talking about losing your job and having to lay out a semester of school because you wrecked your car? Did you not have insurance? Do you not have enough money for a freakin' deductible?

No offense man, but if you cant afford to pay your insurance to get you a rental (if the car can be fixed) or atleast until your stuff goes through and the car is totalled and you can get a new car, you had no business with an S2000 anyways...i mean really, theres no reason why an insured driver should be out of a car in this kind of situation when the car they were driving was a Honda S2000.

k ill clear everything up....
-about my tickets, first is 21mph over (that was jus bein dumb on the way to daytona), the only other one is temp. license plate being expired, and theres a ticket a few years ago is gone now(3 yr. thing). so im not a bad driver.
-about my job.... im already on "final warning" for missing like 5 days in 6 months, idk y thats so bad. but they said if i miss ONE more day in the next 90 day period im OUT. and i missed yesterday cause of the accident. i called and told him everything but they r still pissed, and how am i gonna get to work 30 miles away w/ no car? exp. if i dont get off till 1a.m. nobody wants to pick my *** up lol
- school... started today!! nobody has the same schedule as me and im not gonna take a bus for as long as it takes to fix my car. so unless my dad buys me a beater car in a few days im withdrawling
-insurance. i got full coverage on the car, but doesnt cover rental car, and if i stay in school i gotta get books so idk bout gettin a rental myself... and these guys take fooorreeeevveerrrr.

NOT to tell yall my life story cause i know no one cares, but jus so u kno the situation.

now everytime its rains im carefull as **** cause this car loves to slide. in this scenerio i was in a industrial loop jus checkin out the place for everyone to stunt bikes when its dry.... i was drivin normal thru the place and goin into 2nd gear i was a lil too rough on it (to make it spin a lil bit) which i do alot, it gets a lil sideways and it usually catches like 2 secs. later, done deal.... but on this cement it didnt catch at allll like it would on the road and instead of centering out and catching it went further out to the opposite side, then jerked around in a perfect 180, now im goin backwards at like 30mph in the rain towards a row of semi trailors... SHIIIIT, DUCK is all i could think of......then bam

now im sure there is somthin i could possibly done to atleast slide the other way, but ive never felt the traction and rear end go that crazy so fast b4, it all happend in about 4 secs. was crazy as hell.

people make mistakes, dont beat yourself up over it.

things will suck for a while, but eventually you will get insurance to cover you and you will get a neww s2000.

and by the way, pretty impressive that you were able to react soon enough to duck, i think that most people would have lost thiers heads in a situation like that (rimshot)

just kidding, but seriously glad to see you are ok

that car is going to more then likely be totaled... cause the windsheild frame area is one of the key components of the car on a rollover to prevent crushing.....

secondly.. i hope you realize... SCHOOL > CAR .... doesn't matter how you get to school.. walk 10 miles if you have to.. it's more important then sitting a semester out cause your *** got into an accident and lost your car for a couple weeks till your insurance cuts you a check to get another one...

All i keep thinking about it how I don't think ducking would've done me one bit of good because of my height. I think it would decapitated me for sure.

haha ya fast and furious gone bad for real.... im 6'2, idk how tall u are but im sure you'd find room to duck!

ya as far as school, its about 20 miles away... my dad is workin on buyin me like a 91 accord from a friend for $1000. if i can get that this week im def. not withdrawling. id hate to be a semester behind!

thanx for caring everyone. idk how i made it w/o a scratch. car gods got somthin else in store for me!? lol jk

i dont know if the car will b totalled yet tho, gotta wait on those slow azzzz insurance adjusters. my buddy use to work for one and he was guessin around $9000 tops, but we'll see.

it should be totaled cause the windshield frame is damaged, thats not repairable (well it is but it will not be safe, it will collapse very easily)
