usdm itr ecu in 00 dx

Default usdm itr ecu in 00 dx

i have an ls vtec in a 00 dx......my boy lend me his usdm itr ecu.....ok i know vtec engages at 5,800 but wats the rev limit at? one more thing is y do i have 2 prime it b4 cranking it up? if i try and crank it up the 1st time it wont turn on...is there anyway of fixing it? is the jdm itr ecu the same or is there a difference?

no one knows y i cant just crank up my car in the 1st crank up? y do i have 2 prime it?

Because you have no fuel and you need the fuel to get to the rails. How are you going to start a car without fuel?

ok but how does the stock si ecu just crank up and the itr one u have 2 prime?

i hope you dont think your vtec will engage.... because dx's dont even come with SOHC vtec.

like i said i have a ls vtec....and its a 96 dx with a 00 wire harness conversion...so its pretty much a 00....so y wont it crank up? wat does the itr ecu have dat the si one dont have?

does it bother you THAT much that you have to wait 2 seconds for fuel to be in your lines? that's just the way life is, or in this case, your car is. deal with it.

the only other reason i can think of is because the ITR ecu needs to build up more fuel pressure than the other ECU. i dunno

im just use 2 crankin up my car and riding...i just wanted 2 know wat caused that 2 happen?
