Default b16 block with b18 head???

About a month ago i swapped out my d16 for a "b18a" and was happy with it had no problems wasn't quite as torquey as i would think. So the other day was looking at it and was wondering why engine code was all scraped up so i cleaned it up a bit and realized it said b16. WTF!!!! he sold me a b16 with a ls head?? I'm PISSED!!!!!!!

Are you sure the 18 wasn't scraped up and now it looks like a 16?

hmm sounds like someone must had done a lsvtec, and took the spare b16 block they didnt need and matched it with the b18a head that they no longer neeeded ...
