Default CTR CAMS or CAM?

Im Getting ready to order CTR cams. maybe. Should i just get the intake cam, or should i go for it and purchase both. I was thinkin i could get a boost in the performance with just getting the intake cam, and then get the other one later on down the road... what are your thoughts?

Get both!

you will just lose performance not getting the most out of the intake cam

also you can just get skunk2 1 cams they are the same lift duartion as CTRs

imo dont waste your money on the CTR cams... you will obvious feel the power with those but I wouldnt limit myself to those.

I would get CTR pistons isntead with some nice stage 2 cams... to me thats the perfect street build...

hmm, this is a dilemma I've been wrestling with for ahwile now, whether to do a mild build with CTR's, or a wild build with M22's...depends on your goals and needs...I'd probably be happy with just the CTR's but then again, why not go even further?

00+ itr cams can usually be had for cheaper than ctr's bc more people have them. check around for them

i have skunk2 stage 2's in my b16 w/ ctr pistons & gsr head and it feels great. The Skunk stage 2's are only 500 on jhpusa.com so you might want to check that out. The only problem i ran into was raising my vtec changeover because of my stupid spoon computer.

I wouldn't purchase the CTR exhaust cam unless I was getting both, at a very cheap price. The performance gains with the CTR ex cam is very small, almost non existent in most cases. If you're set on the CTR cams, just pick up the intake cam, and if you decide to upgrade later when you get more mods, you can always sell it.

CTR and ITR cams are the same. I think the 98 Spec cams were the only difference. 3 degrees more on the intake cam. Besides that the 99-01 ITR cams are the same as the CTR.
