(+) term. and does it have a good ground, and is there power on the amps control lead term. when you turn on the HU?
Was the HUs amp control lead wired to the amp?

Was the HUs amp control lead wired to the amp?

Try this, with a pc of wire jump from the amps power term. the the control term. if the amp turns on, then the amp control lead is not connected at the HU.

Check the ground. Make sure its attached to a clean surface. Take some sand paper to the spot if there paint on it. Also did you run the rca cable on the same side as the power wire? Also did you check your x-over on the amp. Adjust it and see what happens. If that fails check your hu ground.
Also if thats your dc2 in your avatar. Thats a clean ride. Pm me with a better pic I would love to see that thing.

Alright well this is worth a shot. remove the remote from the hu and from the amp. Then use a wire to connect the power and remote. This works just like the remote. See if the ground noise your talking about still happens.
Also:
did you run the rcas on the other side/middle away from the power wire?
Did you run the power wire on the same side as the battery?
Is you ground from the amp connected to a clean surface?
