Default sub control

is there any receiver accessory that would plug into the preamp on my deck and then the sub audio cables would plug into it, that would give me sub control? My deck doesnt have it and i cant make my sub bump good without makin the speakers bottom out. Thanks

your post is kinda confusing............

it almost sounds like you wired the sub directly to the deck???

I really hope I'm just reading it wrong and in that case, turn the gain up on the amp

the amp is wired up to the deck. Even with the gain all the way up it wont bump real hard. If I disconnect the back speakers and send the power to the rear then it bumps good. I want it to do that without havin to disconnect the back speakers.

you're not sending enough power to the sub. or, if the sub is a dual voice coil it could possibly be wired wrong (series instead of parallel). If it's wired right then you either need to change the sub out for one that matches the output of the amp, or get a better amp.
