I had a 94 accord lx non v-tecwith only short ram and muffler shop exhaust, gutted cat and not lowered

2.1 60ft
15.699 @ 86mph

but I think being in florida makes my times look good. But when it was completly stock it was 16.8ish i think i know a 16.4 for a fact with just an air filter on the throttle body. I put a header(chickara tourqe step) on my old accord and only hit 15.669 so i dont think it was worth the money.

As for my new accord (the 96 v-tec auto) doesent have anywhere near the ***** my 94 accord LX 5 spd non vtec had.

Dude the car only pulled 85-86 mph. The only reason why the car went so quick time wise is because i had a guy put my base timing at 18 deg and i got lucky and pulled 2.1 60 ft launching at 3000 Rpm. Mph is low cause the car is slow. All my other runs were 15.8s and 15.7s. I pulled these times at orland speed world drag way. If you dont belive me thats fine but why would I lie when I have a civic with an h22 on slicks that runs 14.1 @ 97? thats really slow for an h22 civic. So if i wanted to lie i would say my civic runs 13.7 @ 100 or somthing.

Come on Im not lieing but lets get on withthe thread cause im more intertest in my SLOWER 96 VTEC accord and what other people with auto accords run.

Thank you.

Not about the time you ran.... it's the fact that your talking up an 8 tenths drop from an intake and exhaust

well, i didnt go to a track, but i g-tech'd my 96 ex 4 dr w/5 spd.
i hit like 17.2 and 17.3. i forget the mph and 0-60.

but the model i have is ususally slower and i have 18's (lowered) AND my clutch isnt the greatest..was slipping when i yanked a gear.
so i'm thinking its in the mid to higher 16's.

completely stock save for the wheelsd and lowered. now i have an AEM cold air and i run low 13's intakes rule

ok fin e if you really want to get technical i did pull a 16.1 with just the short ram. Maybe i drove beter on that run. But when i put the exhaust on i noticed a lil difference but when I gutted the cat thats when i noticed the biggest difference the car every saw. Myabe it was cloged and thats why i saw the gains i did maybe. All this is about the 94 by the way.

not an auto but I ran mid 14's in the heatwave a few weeks back, this was at the local track and on low boost... with a 2.7 60 ft though...

and thats why traction has become my focus of attention lately.

I ran a 16.739 @ 83mph with a 2.5 60ft on a 96 EX 5spd with decent tires and only an intake. Seems to be a bit more believable than other times I'm seeing...
