3 options here. What is the best car to buy?

00 gsr....00si.....99 or 00 prelude sh?

Daily driven car of course im 17 its time for me to get rid of my sluggish HX and feel the power of vtec.

All coments and advice appreciated about the 3 cars.

 

gsr,

prelude=big and slow, shitty gearing

SI=fun but stolen too much

 

sh gots 156 pounds of torqe man i think that makes up for the large car? how much does the sh weigh?

 

get a b series swap on your hx, that way you can feel the vtec, and crush all those cars

 

and before some1 trys to flame on me , not all b's are vtec

 

I'm w/ young noob, If you like your car and like the way it handles keep it and do a motor swap. The only other option would be the GSR, it would be the closest to the hatch as far handling. It's hella faster than the Si, my 94 coupe w/ stock LS swap is faster than most if not all stock SI's. And the GSR is way lighter than the Prelude. I only downfall is you would be paying a hella lot more insurance for a GSR then you would for a Civic Hatch HX with a GSR swap, so you do the math.

 

i cant really do the swap i have to get another car. i would love to roll around in a hx with a gsr motor ooh man what a sleeper. its cuz my parents wouldnt understand this swap ordeal. GSR VS SH?

 

i'd go gsr cause they are easier to work on and they are cheaper to ensure and better handling

 

The Kid is only 17, A GSR is basically considered a performance vechicle, he or his parents is gonna pay hella insurance. My buddy at age 18 on his own Insurance was like 271 a mon for full coverage

 

hey man, i just turned 17, i was looking at buying a gsr, but ooo man, insurance!!!! and not too mention its a pricier car too, big deal for me who has to pay for everything, thats why i just bought a 96 cx hatch, and am sucking it up with how slow it is, and when i get enough money, turbo d16, or b series swap, and i will still only pay my 95 dollars a month!!!!! best way to go for us youngins!!!

your 17 how are you gonna buy any of those 3 cars??

keep the hx, enjoy the gas mileage and wait till your 18, save up money, and slap a 1.8L in your hx.
