I have a 95 lude with jdm h22. It feels like I have broken the iab vaccum box everytime I have done the swap. and now I believe my sensor is bad. I just know my Iabs arnt working and I am almost positive thats why my car runs rich above 4500 and shoots flames when shifting. (no cat).
I know other people who have done h22 swaps and never check to see if they are working (they never are).
Just wondering how many people have actually checked?
and yes I do know exactly how they work. so I dont need people to tell me.

I made sure i was getting battery voltage from the Black/yellow wire on the harness connector, but other than that i dont know either. i made sure that i had continuity between the pink wire and A17 ecu pin.
I actually checked mine the other day just because I was curious.
Pop the hood with the engine on and rev it up to 5000 or so. You will see the valve pop open and slowly go back down. What better way to check it??

yeah I know how to check them and I know all the symptoms of the valve not working or a vaccum leak.
Just wondering how many people actually check these things.

Have someone start the car and watch the valve close from the vacuum.
I have mine zipped tied closed for now so that I dont kill my low end power until I get around to fixing it.
