I know most of you guys already know how good of a business man Ben is...but i felt that a thread like this needed be made with all the recent scamming and bad business that has been on this board..i also dont know if this is the right section for this...anywho I was in a very difficult position with my car about a month ago and all it took was one email to Ben...he took care of me like no one else has in the past..dont get me wrong there are TONS and TONS of excellent sponsors on this board but Ben contiues to come thru with honesty and reliabilty..im going to keep it simple and leave it at that but if anyone else has something <U>positive</U> to say please feel free to leave a story or bump this thread

Didn't deal with Ben in particular, but I have bought brembo blanks, ultimate pads, es poly bushing set and all were top notch and arrived very quickly.

I have been a customer of Ben's since 2000, when I got my Civic SI and not only has he matched all my prices, but he even stands by the manufactures warranty going out of his way to make me happy. That is why I send all my friends to him to know I greatly appreciate his services. Hard to find honest and reliable people in the Import scene, that don't lie to you over the phone (wsl).

got a 38mm tial and an elbow from him, took a little to get the elbow but he answered every call i made to him and didnt duck from me. to ben and importparts.

Well sorry to say, Ben has not been good to me. My custom turbo kit didn't come with half the stuff it was supposed to. Sent me the wrong injectors, no vacuum hoses, no BOV, no wastegate, no oil return. And then when I called back, he told me he personally boxed everything up and shipped to me. Then all of a sudden he went outside and saw my missing parts on a shelf just as I had described to him. I had to call back so many times just to get my kit right. After that, I decided to give them another chance. I ordered a packaged deal that they had going on with ACL bearings, wiseco pistons, eagle rods, and an oil filter! Once again, I was shafted. I got the pistons and nothing else. So once again I called explained to Ben. He said he would ship it out. Couple months later, nothing! He said that he was waiting on the pistons to come to him. Even after I told him that I had them. So I finally recieved my parts minus the oil filter that was supposed to come with it. I didnt even bother to call back Geesh! And he still never sent me my $15 refund for not getting the 3bar pigtail! So Ben, you got me pretty good! I spent big money in that shop and got treated like a step kid. I will never recommend any of my friends to http://www.importparts.com. By the way the custom turbo kit that was supposed to be a "everything fits together" kit, yeh right. I had to buy parts from other stores to get the piping and other **** to fit together. I give them a BIG . Never again bro!
By the way, if anyone thinks I'm bullshitting, I got all emails and invoices to support my statement.

 

Ben has been good and quick with little orders to me

and of course, being me, always running into car problems and hes usually always helpful to respond. Gotta love the guy..

 

I wanna personally thank everyone who's taken time out to add your positive feedback. It means a lot to me to know. I'm on a working vacation as Earl has mentioned so I'm still taking care of everyone, it's still business as usual.

Lorenzo, we dropped the ball on your order. As I have told you before, I'm really sorry. You were one of our first customers for the custom turbo kit special we started a year ago. At the time, I felt we launched that promotion too prematurely. We just weren't ready for the amount of orders and parts that needed to be fulfilled. Between our problems with USPS shipping to your APO address and us being overwhelmed by the amount of parts that had to be fulfilled at the time, your order didn't get to you in the time that it should have. All those problems have been cleared up but I'm sure that doesn't mean much to you now. My offer still stands, if there's anything I can do to make up for the headaches we caused you let me know. If you haven't received any credits owed to you, let me know as well. Again I'm sorry and I hope to hear from you.

Im from Montreal Canada and I prefer to get my parts from him than from the local shop. I can get them faster ands cheaper.

I really like his service cuz with him there is no bullshit. If he say something its because he is sure of what hes talking about. I bought a few thousand $ from him and I will continue to give my order to him. BTW Im supposed to get my new clutch/flywheel from him in a few hours.

Ben has always responded to my questions quickly, and my orders with importparts have always gone smooth.

Ben has been such a good person to buy from and Ive been a customer for a very long time. Its grown into a friendship over the years where we've gone to FL or Ive visited him in California and Houston. I am also proud to have them as my sponsor for 2005.
