Default Want to do away with.........

My heater core, A/C and climate controls all together. My ultimate plan for my CRX is to make it a spring & summer cruiser as well as a track bruiser. can anyone think of any problems of doin this??? and can anyone tell me how to find a D.I.Y. hidden wire engine bay. I've searched and searched havent found anything with alot of details. I plan on relocating battery anyway. now i wanna hide everything and still be able to work on car.

Is anyone useing a aftermarket keyless entry system on there CRX? which one are you useing? I want to go to a keyless door handle like people are useing on thier tegs & civics.

look up wire tuck. you will have to extend some wires and relocate the fuse box to under the glove box. i have my headter controls in the glove box ( just need to wire them up now)

sometimes even in the summer or on the track you might still need the defroster, and if your car is running hot, you can always blast the heat on and it acts like a supplemental radiator, so I don't see the point of getting rid of it.

I tossed my climate system... I need to find an alternative defrost (actually defogger) for my windshield. A small hamster wheel fan should do.

Wondering about the keyless entry myself. Saw it on 4th gen hatch but I also wonder if I can just get actuators off ebay and a remote start or something to complement it...

Damnit, I wrote this whole thing and clicked close instead of post, I hate myself now.

Anyway, I just said there are options, actuators and remote start seperately, getting a kit with buttons and actuators together, or two kits seperate. The guy on 4th gen hatch has a write up about a kit with buttons and actuators so that is good, and I priced it at about 100 bucks. I hate rewriting things...:-(

Just remember that the cheaper actuator burn out quite often and you will be replacing them.

i didn't have a climate control in my beater for 1 day... i went to work at 7 am, it was mabye 50 degrees out, and the window fogged up. a street light made it so i couldn't see out the windshield and i ran into a concrete barrier. this was with the windows down, of course, that had no effect. if you EVER plan on driving in spring or fall when it could be chilly in the mornings, keep it.

I got rid of my entire HVAC, rear defogger, and am doing the wire tuck. So far ive extended about 30 or 40 wires. I am going to run a http://estores.merchantpartner...id=61 heel toe auto battery. Used a 4Ga ground to the spare tire mount, and 4ga power a 200amp circuit breaker then to the firewall where I split w/ a distrobution block into 2 8ga. 1 8ga goes to the fusebox, and the other to the starter. Then you need more 8 ga to go from the fusebox to the altenator.
