Default Bilstein shocks

Hello everyone, got a question about some new Bilstein shocks for a 96 EX coupe I just put on. I have Tein springs and just put the Bilsteins on and I have a lot of scrubbing when I take corners at a high speed. Is this a common problem with Bilstein's shocks? Tried searching but didn't find anything to answer my problem.
The Bilstein p/n#'s are BNE-6293-BK & BNE-6327-BK
Thanks

There shouldn't be any scrubbing. How low is your drop and wht is your tire size? It could be tire rub. Did you put the old dust sheilds back on the new struts? Sometimes if you choose too put them back on u have too cut a little off the bottom.

The drop on the springs are
Front Drop: 1.9
Rear Drop: 1.7
tires are 205/40s and yes i did put the old dust shields back on.

how big in diameter are your tires. 205/40s sound like 17s lol. Rubber bands.

well that's your problem. Go down to 16's or 15's

17s don't belong on the double wishbone civic.

True that 17's dont belong on a civic, it looks like a truck w/ 24's riding down the street. Anyway on a serious note are u hearing this from the rear or front? I know it is probably coming from the front and your hearing the tire rubbing on the fender. I have a 94 Civ coupe 2 in drop running on 195/50/15's on the front and under heavy accel and cornering it will rub a tiny bit. When I had 205/50's on the front sounded like the whole fender was ripping off.

Yeah its in the front, & it does sound like the fender in being ripped off. OK so now that I'm getting a set of 15x7 would bigger sway bars help enough not to have as much body roll or should I just replace bushings?
Thanks for your help

No, don't spend money other areas of the suspension. You need to address your wheel & tire combination. Either your tires are too wide or your offset is wrong, pushing the tirer & wheels out more than they should causing you to rub.

Yeah what he said, with them being 15x7 I wouldn't worry bout body roll. My setup is above and I dont have bad body roll. My friends think it outhandles most of their hatch's. I just have some cheap upper front n rear sway bars, but I have a good suspension. I'm using KYB GR2's and Suspension Technique 1.8 drop springs. I went with Integra springs just for the spring rates, cuz I'm running an LS swap.

if you like big rims get some 16s. But 15s is the ultimate wheel for civic. You can put good enough tire on there to launch, and corner at the same time. After all civics double wishbone suspension is made for that. You want big rims get a mcphearson strut car.
