Today I went to check out a drift event, stayed for about an hour as it was just too damn hot. So I decided to go for a drive further up North to put some more km on the car, well I caught up to traffic and about 5 cars in front of me was another Honda...he passed the car in front and was gone, the road is very twisty and not many overtaking opportunities without going at it blind. I started picking off a car at a time as I could, and eventually just jumped the final 2 cars and went searching for the other Honda. After about 20km I caught up to him. He was behind another couple cars, when a decent straight-away opened up he took off and I followed. From there we were playing around some in the twisties, though I was not fully gunning mine, for the engine is only 55% broken in now. Anyways, after awhile he told me to pass him and he proceded to follow me for some of the time. Was a bit exciting. We eventually pulled off at the most northern point on Okinawa, called Hedo-misaki.

Anyways, I took a couple pics of our cars together, sorry they are not so good, the parking lot was packed with tourists, so I did the best I could.











So that is what I was playing with in the twisties, it was rainy for I would say 50% of the time, cutting through the mountains. Still had a decent time. I tried to take a video from behind him with my digi-cam, but it is not so good and at that point we were only going about 30-40mph. I will post it anyways shortly in this thread. Like I said it is not very good, hard to hold the cam and drive at the same time. Also the video was not at a very fun portion of the roadway and we were behind some military vehicle.

Also my car was pretty damn dirty from all the rain, but oh well, it's not a trailer queen. haha :thumbsup:

Mods to his '91 NSX are HKS suspension, FGK(Fujitsubo) exmanis and exhaust and the Prodrive wheels, 17" up front and 18" in the rear. The rest is stock!!! He told me he is really into Hondas and his other Honda for daily driving is a EF8 CR-X SiR.

Finally got the chance to meet up with DC5 last night. Took me a while to catch him but.... Its been some time since I got the chance to cruise with another R so I enjoyed it fully, the cars sound totally mint going down the streets. The inside of his car looked like a bling show "all the cool toys". Much props for a clean ride

 

Thanks Dan! I can't say I could hear yours behind me, haha, but I am sure it sounds good. Sorry I should of given you a hollar today , didn't get up until almost 12, so I rushed out of the house to get up to the bullring.

Well Okinawa is a prefecture of Japan. At one point in time long, long ago it was its own country and yes, true Okinawans do not like to be called Japanese.
