Your friend ran at palmdale also?
And from what i've heard, LACR sucks. So take a couple tenths off your slip. Good 60' unless you got them azenis. Then 2.1 would be standard.
Also 10 flat is not that bad. I usually see ep3's running low 10's in the 1/8. like 10.2+

on friday, i went to our local track (1/8 mi.) and ran a 10.02 at 71.x mph with my bone stock '04 type-s. All i did was lower my tire pressure to 22psi.
my best run was actually my very first time running my car at the track
All in all, i had a blast

LACR is 2,710 ft. above sea level.
To figure the altitude factor the formula is as follows:

ET: multiply your et (at LACR) by .97
MPH: multiply your mph (at LACR) by 1.03
This will give you the ET & MPH at sea level.

I would hope cause here in florida I ran My girlfriends o2 civic EX bone stock and I went 16.1 @ 85.00 mph with 2.3 60ft I say practice alittle more on launching, shifting, everthing then go back to the track and I think youll be a lil more happy. Your car is a type S right? if so I say your car is worth at leat 15.4 or better at sea level. By the way with the calculations above adjusted your time is 16.0 @ almost 86. Your MPH shuold be mor like 89 or so I would think.

Cya.

I dont see why it should be locked its just everyone sharing information. thats what a forum is for. plus other people on here were there that day when i ran that time.

I can vouch for LDS, he went 16.1 in an 02 EX, I was out at Orlando SpeedWorld, I saw it happen. My 96 Civic EX was going 15.7@87ish at the time. When we raced I didn't pull him very hard at all. His times are correct.

Why is it so unbeliable that a 2002 ex ran a 16.1 stock?? It has more power than the older civics and shorter gears!! I have a 96 civic Dx coupe that has been 15.8 @ 86w/IHE. Not all cars and drivers are the same!! Nobody believes me until i woop their ***, but who cares!! I also love how people just post "lock this" just because they have nother better to say!!

LDS couldn't hang with my 03 Element DX. JK His time was legit, watched him run it right after he got the car, he got some great times out of the car and it was bone stock off the showroom floor.

Moshi your 60' looked pretty decent but you didn't pick up much after the 1/8th. Did you have a problem getting into 3rd or 4th ? Something definately seemed to be pulling it down at the top end.

I think its the aem v2 that is killing you. LACR must have been hot and all that hot air under your hood is not helping. Try using a CAI like your bro.

I just installed an injen CAI on my rsx-S today and man I have never felt a car respond so good to just a simple CAI.

I got mine for a hell of a deal. Cheaper than any listed price i have seen online.

Sorry about that man. In that case I saw a guy with just an intake (so he claims) running 15.2s every run at 91 mph. I dont know hoe but thats the fastest with such little mods ive seen an 03 si go.
