I dont think there is a better alternative to using OEM synchros and just using good fluid in the trans and not abusing it.

the carbon coated synchros from gearspeed are supposed to be pretty good.

They're still just OEM sychros.... coated with whatever they do with them.

I am really happy with mine also. So far I have 5xxx miles on the tranny and it shifts lilke butter..

Thanks, i hit 91k and i am starting to hear some bearing noise and want to rebuild the trans soon..

Will and I have had them in our hands and there is a distinct difference. oem were thinner and flimsier.

Don't believe me? Ask him.

And I thought you would be one not to pass on hearsay knowledge.

Thats funny cuz I talked to Gearspeed before anyone on here even knew who they were and they specifically told me they were OEM from Honda and were Carbon treated for their strength.
Unless they changed something in the past year or 2

A full set is $275

1-2 Are OEM Brass
3-4-5 Are Carbon Coated

If I can remeber right, the Carbon Coated ones were a tiny bit different then the OEM's.
