Hey guys I drive a 1988 CRX with an LS/VTEC and I'm going to be putting in a new disty and installing MSD ignition. This is going to be my first time doing both and I really am looking for some experienced people with possibly links or just tips so I don't screw this one up! My car needs to be running prime because I'm driving across the country in three days! Any help or advice you guys can give about distributors, timing DOHC cars, or MSD ignition would be great!

 

So no one here has ever replaced a distributor? I dont understand the whole aligning and timing stuff, anyone care to help break it down to me? I have friends that have done it on a SOHC but never a DOHC...
