on http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com they just call it a bearing so thats not really helpful. When i removed the tranny casing the very top 2 bearings that you first see when the case is removed, they spin freely and make no sound whenever spun but they one in that picture makes sorta a metal to metal sound when spun. I guess that means its bad or is it supposed to sound like that?

Ok well the top differential bearing (pictured) from a dx tranny is not the same as the si tranny. Whenever this bearing is spun by hand it sounds like a skateboard wheel whereas the other bearings are farily quite. I have replaced the input shaft bearing and dont have time to wait to order a differential bearing (2) acutally. Does anyone know if the diff. bearing is supposed to have some sound when spun by hand or is that an indication it is bad. I hate to replaced both differential bearings at $30 a peice and it not even need to be. My symptoms are that identical to what everyone is saying input shaft bearing. I need some advice here.
the only bearing i have replaced is NUMBER #15 will this fix my problem as of right now or no?
