yeah i know i just posted about this for NJ ins how about NY ?

Does anyone have a good hookup in NY?
I would keep looking into NJ ins but all the major companies who write NJ have pulled out and it leaves not many options for low cost Ins...
So I'll try NY (maybe not cheaper but atleast a bunch of choices)

I dont think there is such a thing as a hook up with NY insurance. We just get raped.

GEICO just gave me a quote over the phone for (are you sitting) $7,996.00 for a six month policy

if she was in person i would have slapped her!

 

Try Allstate, they gave me the cheapest rate in the Bronx.

 

My insurance is in Westchester and my holder was Hartford but the branch of Hartford was Omni.

The agent I dealt with was Mitch Glicksman.

 

I called they have to call me back with the quote in1/2 hour, cross your fingers!!!

 

i used to use state farm, until late last year, then there was a sudden price hike.
my quote went from ~1100 every 6 months (for the teg), to OVER 5,000 every 6 months for the RSX.

originally state farm quoted me ~$1200/6 mos, but then AFTER i bought the car, i get a phone call.. "o, um, leo, we misquoted you. ya, we know youve had the car for a month. well, um, the rate is now 5,000.

im ******* 27 yrs old and i have to insure through a family member. (whos quote forthe rsx is 900/6 mos)

gotta love NYC. why do i live here again?

 

I have Nationwide since 1993, when I bought a brand new left-over Mustang GT. Since I have have tons of seniority with them I only pay $1200 a year for my ITR. But "off the street" customers would pay 4 or 5 times that amount for a comparable policy. Bbasso, give DCAP insurance a call, they may be able to accomodate you.

well i found a company Encompass Ins, who will ins my car and me for 3100 for the year in NJ!!

SOLD, i'll take it!

like i have much choice

 

mlk insurance.....run by allstate.....$1800 year/full coverage

 

im with allstate and im paying $408/6 months - full coverage


type r 01-1063 - who wrote himself his own policy

 

i have NY state Liberty Mutual through Allstate, i paid 3300 full coverage. I will qualify for Allstate now in April so hopefully it will be cheaper.
