Turn let vs right
Why do I always feel better about turning right vs left? The tires and suspension just seem to go into a right turn feeling more confident. I can turn right at the car's limit. Turing left just don't feel the same. Is it me, in my head, or the car?

Most road tracks that I driveon have more right turns.

Wait - do you have coilovers? If not nevermind what I said about corner balancing. You can't do it.
You could have it corner-weighted if you don't have coilovers.
So when you put your springs in did you cut them? If so you cut them unevenly and that could be your problem. Here are some other causes:
- Bad alignment
- Fucked up front suspension
- Bent frame
- different tire pressures right to left
- Having a big fat boyee in the right seat
You could have it corner-weighted if you don't have coilovers.

I'm leaning toward alignment. The shop that did the alignment first think my Civic was an Accord. That's what he wrote. I told him about it, and he said "oh...I'll tell the tech" but never corrected the paper work. The car doesn't pull to the left or right, so I trust that they did it right. That was 6 months ago, and only now I had the chance to push my daily driver and notice that it likes right turns better than the left.

Alignment issues don't only cause the car to pull. If you have more negative camber on one side the car will have a tendency to turn in more forcefully on one side but not the other.
Chris - if the driver is 150# and the boyee is 280# the car will turn better to the right . . .

I've also been thinking of trading in my SE-R for a Dodge Intrepid... They seem like pretty cool cars... They're RWD, right?

Some of them are RWD. They're pretty rare, though. In addition to RWD, Intrepids with option # 277227 also come with small-block V8s, no doors and stickers in place of the headlights and taillights.

here's my theory. on two lane mountain roads, we drive on the right hand side... assuming you don't cross over to the other lane, on right hand turns you have another lane for run off. but on left hand turns you will run out of road.
it subconciously carries on to the track.
another reason is when making right hand turns usually you have nice full view. on left the A pillar might block some of the view.

I think I've heard of them things... Are they the ones that come with those augumatic tire rotaters? The ones that'll do it in 17.62 seconds?

Check out this month's SCC. Their project Civic just got it's new suspension and wheels and guess what it's turned considerably better one way than the other too. (.93 g vs . 87g). They suggested looking over the suspension for loose or worn bushings, bent suspension pieces, and corner weighting the car to correct the handling imbalance.
