Cuts Out at High RPM- ? Out of Ideas....

Cuts Out at High RPM- ? Out of Ideas....
Motor is in my sig. The problem is new.
Compression test is 295 across the board. I have checked all grounds. I have replaced plug wires. I have changed spark plugs. I have checked all wiring on the harness.
Car pulls very strong right to 8800 rpm and then it just cuts out just as if it was hitting a rev limiter which my ECU does not have.
AFR's at WOT right before it cuts out is 12.7:1
Could my ECU be faulty. Any other ideas? Bad cap and rotor? If someone can point me in the right direction so I don't spend my whole weekend trouble shooting I would be most appreciative.
