URGENT!! how to fit engine + g/b into eg

Default URGENT!! how to fit engine + g/b into eg

As title says, we dont need to put it in the engine bay, we need to get it in the car some how for the journey home


any help much appreciated

Ive done it a couple of ways. take out passanger seat and sit motor there. or slide the motor in angled with the exhaust ports down and rest it in the hatch. it also helps if u remove the exhaust manifold and intake manifold to allow more clearance.

trans was removed, we just lifted and set it on the hatch lid, took a break, then put it in the trunk and flipped it. it should still fit, with the trans. just gonna be that much heavier. HTH.

take out your spare and put it behind the driver's seat and drop the motor in the well, with the tranny going over the removed rear seats

Do you have to use a hoist to get it in? I mean how do you not scratch the door?

its pretty much common sence, just take the back seat out, you and a friend pick up the motor use your muscle if you got any and slide it in its easy..
