96-98 Civic turn signal bulbs
Ive been looking for some "aftermarket" bulbs for the headlamps turn singals in the 96-98 Civic gen. Nobody has them, and I was just wondering if anyone knew where to get maybe some white or darker amber ones? I have black housing headlamps and they still shine through, buts its a weak amber from the bulb itself and it throwos off the white headlights. Nothing on eBay either (desperate!)
Thanks!
Thanks!
same here...i REALLY need some too...i seen some nice led kinds on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...QrdZ1 which i dont know if they would fit cause i looked up the sizing for a my 96-98 civic on osram sylvania lamp replacement guide, and they said its 3496...but on that auction, they have a picture of a civic front turn signal...but it doesnt say anything about my 3496 size...soo i dont know
...might there be another name size for the front turn signal for a 96-98 civic?? (ex. 96-98 headlight bulbs - 9003, also H4)

I am assuming that he is talking about Nopi online. If you search for it (I don't know the url), it should come up pretty quickly.

I was talking about a Nopi store that was in Norcross, GA. I'm sure you can order them online too.

The 7440 fomr that auction looks about right, as far as bulb shape goes, its the same "half-pill" shape and that picture is the correct headlamp.
My mistake, thats the rears...whichy ive also dealt with, but those are much easier to replace. Damn, I think ill ask him if he can find/make some 3496s. Ill keep in touch.
Alrighty! Checked it all out myself by taking my headlight out and getting at the bulb, its the 1157, two prong. Be ordering some from that eBay guy, hehe. THanks for the help all!

Ah, sorry, thought I did a follow up, anyways, I got them.
yes they look great
yes they are bright enough (at least same lumines as my stock bulbs in the black housings)
yes they fit perfectly without modification
no the tmpo is off, its fast, and im not sure how to fix it, but i dont care urgently enough just yet, maybe I will if someone finds a way to fix it, hehe
