I just bought an 05' CR-V and was thinking about putting in some subs with an amp.. i really like the stock stereo because it has the 6 disc in dash changer and would like to keep it.. question is; does anyone know if the stock radio would have rca outputs to plug in the amp? if not, can it be done some other way? thanks guys!

sorry, i have another thread but i think it's in the wrong place.</TD></TR></TABLE>I don't think it will have any kind of preamp output, can't hurt to check, but you can still ad an amp to the system, all you need is an amp with speaker level inputs or any amp and a "LLOC", [low level output converter]. 94

 

He already said that he wants to keep the stock changer... And selling that unit would not pay for a different deck and a changer...

So, to answer the OP's question, as fcm said, get the low level converter and tap into the speaker lines, and run your rca's back to the amp. :thumbsup:
