I recently got a d16z6 head. I can tell it has the different cam (stock head's cam is perfectly machined all over, this cam is bumply between lobes), but the springs? Not really sure if they are crower or something else.

The only difference is that the stock head's (1993) springs are all marked with green paint, and the other head (1994-5) has purple on the springs, and it's intake springs have 1 more coil.


Any ideas? They all seem to be the same diameter coils. I just don't want to push it past redline w/springs, since I hope to be running a t3/t04 with a built bottom end. TIA
