Spoon 4-pots bolt right up and take the same size pad as the stockies.

It doesn't improve the stopping distance by a whole lot. But it allows very precise modulation of your brakes and even wear of the pads, which are the main purposes of multi-piston calipers.

Ask Dave-ROR, D and Yack if it makes a difference. I would say deffently yes. Also the CCX pads help out alot too

How much difference came from CCX pads? Did you ever run the calipers w/ stock pads?

Pads make a bigger difference in stopping distance than the calipers. I have the Spoon brakes myself. It does make a difference in stopping distance but honestly not by a whole lot. But the ability to modulate the brakes worths much more than the ultimate stopping power IMO.

Never ran them with the stock pads. I modified the stock pads to work with the Spoon calipers and was going to install them after the final drive install, but as you all may know, I ran into a few other problems and have now been with out a car for over a month.

what i meant by "AssPenny is it worth the money for the shorter stopping?" the cost of changing to 4pot and pads aint cheap, right? so the feel of the brakes & distance is much better but at what cost?
would any of us just be better off with ss lines and fantastic pads? (cost effective)

It would have been more cost effective to just go SS and pads, but I plan on road racing alot in the near future and got a good deal (at the time) on the calipers. Right now, I don't feel it was worth the money as I don't track the car at all, but when I start, I'm sure it will be worth it.
