i was looking @ a 70-74mm and i am going to upgrade to 2 &3/4 or 3" piping but was wondering about any problems with aftermarket tb's sticking and tps problems

the ericks tb is the same as the STR/ BDL. and a few other company's. ive installed a few on customers cars, they are nice throttle body's
i have also installed a bbk and a JG/edlebrock throttle body on differant cars.. the BBK is JUNK. the edlebrock on the other hand is a decent throttle body, and also comes with a new tps sensor, so you wont have to hack off your old one.
on the other hand, i have a Holley 75mm mustang throttle body on my street engine, and the throttle plate started to get a bit tweaked. not that its anything major, but im sure some people wont want to deal with it.
the wilson 105 on the race car, it seems to be holding up with no problem as of yet. the only complaint on that is the adjustment screw. its kind of a lame setup. but i guess if we put loctite on it, that would solve that problem.

that's why i was asking i have heard of problems with a few of the company's you listed i am leaning toward the Eric's for my street car when i get through with the rebuild i will let everyone how it preforms
why not just have you stock one bored out to 64-65mm.

i doubt you will see and huge gains going to 70mm+ unless you plan to make huge boost/power.....

I had to use an adaptor flange(I got it for tuner toys) so the throttle body would mount to the intake manifold. I had to get the intake manifold bored out to 75mm. I 'm using the aem ems so I decided to use a mustang IACV instead of remote mounting the stock honda IACV. one of the benefits of using the AEM EMS
