hood positions
i've been lookin on h-t at alot of pics the get swap and well i noticed the the hoods are fine untill someone does a swap then the top of the hood comes up a couple of inches why is that? is it cause of space or what? and is there a way to avoid the problem?
I forgot more about hondas then you will ever know....

you don't need to even remove a hood to do a swap.....
so, you may have seen some pics of some f'd up cars.

just a guess but if u have a CF hood and u put the stick that holds the hood up for a long time, u will notice it is bending your whole hood an so maybe it is just bending from people puttings there hoods up for a while and the stress on one side slightly worps the hood
Are you thinking of the guys who set up their hood so it sits a bit higher in the top (nearest the windshield)? If so I read on here once some people do it to help with the cooling of the motor. I dont know anything about this theory so I am not gonna comment on it. Its just something I heard.
You dont have to do this to run a B series motor in your car. The motor and hood fit just fine.
