i always thought the coupes looked kind of like bmw 3 series. that one looks even more like it with that particular front end.

the silhouette of a coupe really reminds me of a 3 series..

i think the square lights are more aggressive than the round ones, thats why i like it

becides acura el's here in canada only come in 4 doors, so i taught it would be sweet making a 2 door model

gross. it does look a nasty nissan. but...if you take apart the headlights, and use this really good spraypaint, you can sorta chrome the black plastic, and itll be almost the same. ya paint it, and do a series of baking it in the oven. with chrome headlamps, might look better, and if it didnt have a black lip on a red car. Paint the lip red.
The front and rear dont match.
And to both, put the H in the grille, and do somethin bout all that chicken wire.

Tech part: To swap, you need the same **** as a 99 to 96 conversion, headlamps, fenders, bumper, hood, and possibly rad. support.

let me guess, they welded the rear doors shut and did 99-00 si taillight conversion? get a clue man, it's the normal domani front end conversion to an si(or replica).
only differance between domani and el is the headlights, and side markers.

i think the original looks a lot better than that. the jdm integra front conversion would look nicer.

A Honda Domani is an entirely different model that does not exist in the USA.

Honda Domani is to Japan
as
Acura 1.6 EL is to Canada
as
Isuzu Vertex is to Thailand

The brand name Acura DO NOT exist in Japan as most people should know. Also, the 1.6EL (96-00) and 1.7EL (01-Present) models DO NOT exist in America. People see it and most think it's an Accord when looking at the tail lights. My father saw one during a trip to Canda and was convinced it was an Accord. When I told him about it, he was convinced it had the wheelbase of an Accord, which it does not.

These are based off of a Civic. There are subtle differences, from seeing one in person that was serviced at the Honda dealership I work at in Cincinnati, OH. They are only available in a sedan, as previously stated. Obviously the front end is styled differently. As I already stated, the rear end looks like a Civic sedan with taillights similar to the 98-02 Accord sedan. The center radio console area is styled a little differently than the 96-00 Civics. The one I saw had leather.

I notice something a lot.

It seems that when people see a red 6G Civic, they like to assume it's an Si. Milano Red was used on other trims as well. Also. the "99-00 Si taillights" are really just "99-00" taillights The Si had nothing special that the other trims did not in regards to their exterior lighting.

I don't know if you were just joking, or not. But I certainly wanted to try and clear this up for people who seem clueless or confused.

Incorrect. The Si had painted side skirts from the factory, as well as a honeycomb stile grill. All other models had a vented style grill.

I personally love the El / Domani front. I saw one the other day from canada and I thought I would love one on my car.
