We have a 1994 Civic Si that is currently not starting. Turning over, but acts like it is not getting fuel/spark. Prior to this the only problem we had was the car stalling at stoplights.. sometimes if you caught it and gave it more gas you could prevent it, then other times it would just die.. but would start up 5-10 minutes later. This last time my wife was driving about 55mph down the road and she could feel the car wanting to die.. she gave it more gas to see if she could get it going but it died. No other problems besides this ever...

We took it to a shop and they are clueless as to whats wrong.. the guy mentioned no compression on any cyl which makes me think that he screwed up the test.. no overheating problems or coolant in oil. To me it sounds like electrical or fuel.. any one have any suggestions??

 

Check Main Relay, fuel pump, fuel pressure.

 

get some of the fuel injector cleaner stuff.. ya know you put it in with a tank of gas

 

and check the ground wire(s)
