is there a bushing or somthing on the end of the input shaft or one that sits in the part it sits in in the middle of the flywheel? can anyone tell me the part name or number if there is? thanks

90 accord dx 5 spd

Yes there is, and it's correct nomenclature is "Pilot Bearing (or Bushing)". It can be either a Caged Needle Roller Bearing, Or a Bronze Bushing. Knowing Honda as I do, ..... It's a bearing.
It supports the input shaft at the rear of the crankshaft.
I tryed a search on Majestics' On-Line Parts Catalog, but couldn't come up with the Part# for you, Sorry
