The other day we had a hail storm and all I could do was stand at the window and watch my hatch (that I just bought two weeks ago) and ITR get pelted with hail. After the storm was over, I went out to see the damage and couldn't see any, but tonight I was walking past my ITR and the porch light was shinning just right on it and could see some really faint dings in the hood and roof of it. It was the same with my hatch too. Guess I'll be giving my insurance company a call tomorrow. The only good thing that is coming out of this is that the hatch is gonna get a new paint job all over.

 

wow, that sucks hail damage is NOT cool. I hope it never happens here

 

I know how you feel...............I have fell victim to hail 3 times all on diff cars that were less than 6 months old!! Hit my R within 3 months of owning it.......SUX

Send out the PDR patrol........and make sure they know what they are doing before they touch your car.

 

Didn't you think about putting a blanket or something over the cars? No trees to move them under!?

 

I'd be out there holding an umbrella or something! At least over the roof.. let the hood get dented and go carbon fiber!

 

Well, being that I was downstairs sleeping and was woke up by all the noise, I had no time to get prepared for the storm. I wasn't about to go outside and get binged in the head by the hail. Better my cars than me. I don't have any trees around my house besides my neighbors and their sons car is always parked there. So I was basically **** out of luck.

 

It hailed where i live last year and i ran outside with all my blankets and covered my baby up, worked like a charm

 

Yeah! Human's can heal themselves.. Type R's cannot.

 

Sell the R and get a garage.
