i am having a problem with the front crossmember clearence i have no room for downpipe or to run my drain pipe for my oil line if anyone on here has done this swap let me know what you did to make room .

 

surely someone has turboed a b18 in a crx.

 

I had a piece of pipe welded straight to the pan close to the crank pulley side. It followed the crossmember until there was enough room to slip a hose over it from my return.

Then I ditched that whole setup and got an aftermarket crossmember.

Worth it.

 

were did you buy your crossmember? and how much was it?

 

yeah your best bet is to get an aftermarket crossmember.

is there any way i could cut out half of the cross member? or 1 off a other car work on it ?
