Default Options for a lightweight, yet inexpensive (cast) 15" wheel?

Guys-

It's been a while since I last purchased wheels for an ITR. I was wondering what folks were running now as a cheap (cast), but lightweight 15 x 7 wheel, other than the Kosei K1. Obviously, there are the forged (and expensive) goodies, but I'd prefer being able to purchase two sets for the price of one forged set. I searched, but couldn't come up with any options.

I kick myself for not purchasing more of those Stern Aguzze wheels way back when

Thanks for any and all suggestions

I've run a set of Team Dynamics on the track for a year now without any issues. I'm with you on the Sterns, I have one set, but I wish I had a couple more those things are very strong!!

I haven't seen these for sale in a long time.

I know double A just bought (well, a few months ago) some ATS Comp Lites.. I'm not sure where. I'll ask him.

Also, there are some 15x7 Rotas for sale.

Chris - who once had a set (of finalspeeds)....

Rota Slips in 15x7 would get my vote

Motegi Track Lites are pretty nice, light, cheap rims

JLB in my sig still has a set or 2 left of the special order 15x7 5 lugs slipstreams in stock.

Rota also makes a couple other wheels like GT3 (GAB replica) and Track R (CP-R replica) in 15x7 5x114.3

Kosei K-1 TS in 15x7? I dunno how they made it so light. It is 2+ lbs lighter than the old K1. I've seen it on quite a few race cars at NASA event.

same here. I've been more than happy doing track days on the 6.5's and they've held up fine.

Then I would have to worry about losing 8 valve stem caps.

I've been looking at BC QFs myself, but the cheapest I could find were about $333 each for 15x7.

Not sure what your spending limits are...

The cast BCs are pretty decent as well, since BinB is looking for two sets.

I've also been looking at some rota slips for auto-x. $435 a set.

break a rota and all u lose is 100 dollars. my vote is for rota's. they might be copies, but they are great AND cheap alternatives.

I have heard that rota's dont hold up well to track abuse. I know some of you guys have experienced different, but I do put alot of trust in my sources.

The Slipstream is a very robust (though still light weight) wheel, and I can't recall ever reading about someone breaking one. For track duty, it would definitely be among my top choices.

NYC potholes have bent three if not four of my Rota SS wheels
Bent enough to see when the wheel is spinning while lifted.
But I still use them.

They have endured 3 years headache free
