vtec engagment
Hey guys, i did a search under vtec engagment in the archives and not much came up.. to my knowledge it usually kicks in around 4,500rpms to 6,000 rpms, and it takes alot of variables to get it to go, either way, i know its recognized through a distinctive sound(louder usually) and the car moving faster... i dont really feel any difference or hear any louder sound... ive checked my oil levels, all good, no problems with the VSS. Maybe i simply dont hear or feel it when its enganging... is there a way for me to check to see if it has turned on? i remember reading about a vtec engagment light, where some guys would install it, mostly for ricey reasons, but i think it would suit my purpose of identifying it... what do you guys think? probaby just hook up and LED and wire it in...?
What do you guys think?
What do you guys think?
heres a link on how to do the light install, http://home.earthlink.net/~civ....html
