can these damn D series distributors be rebuilt just like the B series OBDI distributors?

Reason I ask is because I have another OBDO D series distributor that blew the bearing but I believe the sensors are good and the one with the good bearing has a bad TDC position sensor.

Can I mix n match to make a good distributor? I need to sell my EF so I'm just lookin to get it runnin and not dump more money into it than I already have.
