Default HELP!!!!! Engine Mount inserts

i heard that having stiff mounts will make u put more power to the ground and all, but since i installed my energy suspension motor mount insert for the lower tourqe mounts my car feels slower and idles very ruff making the car vibrate as if u were sittin in a massage chair. Just want some info from you tech guys out there! could there have something gone wrong? Car always used to break traction in 1st and 2nd gear at 5 psi

Thanks

hey. ok the vibration problem is common. you cant avoid it! the old rubber bushings used to act like a shock and absord most of the vibration. the polyurethane bushings are hard so they transfer power better but consequently also transfer the vibration.

its in your mind most likely. unless you knocked charge pipe connections loose etc. i have found that a stiffly mounted engine puts power to teh grund better and is a little less likely to break traction since everything isnt fighting under the hood and moving around.
