Default phantom grip or other lsd's

Do any of u guys run the phantom grip in your car, if not what would u guys recomend for a reasonable priced lsd unt. I am running an ls tranny I dont have that much money cus im puttin together a turbo kit so any advice or info would be appreciated.

My advice, stay away from Phantom Grip and get yourself a real LSD.

Unless your planning on pushing 300+ hp id say buy an ITR LSD

He has an LS tranny. With the cost of the actual LSD, plus the cost of the FD ring gear, and 4.400 countershaft, it will cost too much for him because....

I'd would say to go for the OBX LSD. I have heard good things about them. But just today, I started seeing threads saying they're bad. I dunno, try doing some research on them and see what you find. $300-350, almost exactly like Quaiffe, and a lifetime warranty.

thanks for the info its lookin like obx cus i want the Quaiffe but ive heard people say some good things for the price. but again thanks for all the info guys

Don't forget about KAAZ. A clutch type LSD is rebuildable. The gear type is not, but w/ the lifetime warranty, who needs a rebuild?
