vacuum hose #16 on crx hf, whats it go to??
ok, here's the scoop. i just swapped a sohc zc into my hf, i was throwing code five, just now had a reply to that post that showed me my problem was that my brother, who helped with the swap, had blocked off the vac. line that comes from the map sensor. so, i unblocked it, switched it on the intake with the one he had on there (#16), and the code five goes away. anyway, the point of the story is, the cel is no longer coming on, but what is the # 16 vac. linne for?? was it the line that went to the egr valve and should have been the one that needed plugged??? also, even though the code 5 is gone, it doesn't want to idle. idles at 500, then goes down and wants to die. is that because of the # 16 hose, or do i just need to adjust my idle. ok, thats it. i love this place, if it wasn't for this site, i'd still be lost on all the problems i've had with my rex, so
to everyone on here. thanks.

thats sweet, i needed that, but, now i have another question. ok, there's no egr on the sohc zc i swapped in, and it was mistakenly run to the intake instead of the map hose. soooo, i swithch em over, plug up the egr hose, and now i have hardly any throttle response, its way off. and, my car is gettin really hot, almost in the red. now, with the map going into the intake, and the egr vac. line blocked up, im getting lag, and when i was driving it today, it started throwing a code one(02). would the car running hot have anything to do with that?? and since it doesn't seem to run right with egr line blocked, how about a 2 way splitter for it an map sensor into intake, because even though i was getting code five, it ran a hell of a lot better with the egr line plugged in instead of the map plugged in. would that work, would it hurt anything??
hey fellas, i got back online to see if anyone had some ideas, but nothin, so im replying to bring it to the top. zc owners, i need ur help. if i block off the egr vacuum line, i have serious throttle lag, but if i plug it back into the intake where the map sesensor should go, and leave the map line blocked, the car runs great, just really rich and it throws code five. what to do, what to do??
