I got a type r spoiler on my gsr and i need to extend the third brake light wire harness. Does anyone know what type of wire i need to buy? because i dont know what kind to get.

 

I did the same thing, but I went from the gsr spoiler wire to the 3rd brake light. I wanted the 3rd brake light instead. I just went to autozone and picked up 14 or 16 gauge wire and spliced/crimped. Very easy and took less than 5min. Works great. Make sure you get the same gauge wire or bigger, never smaller. Good Luck.

 

how can you tell what guage the wire is?

 

i belive that it is a 14 gauge wire that you need. instead of cutting anything, just go get some "t-taps" and it will allow you to just tap into the electrical current going to your 3rd brake light, unless you didn't want the brake light to work, then you can just cut it.
