I was looking at the Exedy clutch and flywheel combos but I'm not sure which I should get for my app.
I understand that aluminum flywheels are not a wise choice, but what clutch I should get, I have no idea.
Suggestions?

I have the Al comptech FW for a long time now. If I can't cause it to blow up, I doubt you can.
The stock clutch will work up to 200whp but might not last as long as the measly 160-165 whp it was meant to go against...
I would use and do is the ACT XT-SS with Al fw from comptech. Zero problems, except for throw-out bearings.

I'd like to add that this is a daily driver that sees bumper to bumper from time to time, which means I don't want a ******* race clutch in my ****.

Aluminum flywheel? I dunno, isn't that risky?
Any probs with ACT?

I've found the stage 1 is harder on the foot then my stage 3 i was running a cm stage 3 with 190whp and shifted to 3rd and blew the clutch.

I had a stage 1 in my old GSR and I didnt notice much change in clutch pressure from stock. I know the ITR clutch is better than a stock GSR but wasnt sure how it compared to a stage 1

wow that's surprising.
my friend would launch his gsr on nos and slicks on a cm stg 3 and it held up fine.

i rock the TODA 7.9 lb flywheel, and i LOVE IT! about $450 from King Motorsports
and for a clutch id recommend the Action equivalent to the 2MD 6-puck, but a full face instead of 6-puck
i like the 6 puck clutch, but if your only making 200 whp, it would be overkill IMO
i also am a huge fan of the stage 2 ClutchNet clutch. FEELS AWESOME!
clutchnet is great if your not looking to spend 400 dollars on a clutch
act, action, all the big names are 400 bucks or so

I'm running the Clutch Masters Stage 3 clutch with a Toda flywheel. I have about 18k miles on the clutch and it's still holding the power just fine. I also have well over 200wp.

if you want a nice street driven, great holding capacity, soft clutch pedal. Clutch masters stage 1 will do. If you want a clutch that will last a bit longer....the stage 3 Kevlar is great!
